I just watched the movie Evan Almighty. It was really cute.

In the movie God is portrayed as a black man and that really got me thinking.

What does God/Jesus really look like?

Not that color matters at all I don't want anyone to think that.

I am just wondering about this.

Also, If God is really black then why was there the discrimination in the past towards african americans and why do a few people today even still have problems accepting them. That makes no sense to me. If God was black you would think people would think of it as a blessing. Even though we are all supposed to be the same.

I have always thought of Jesus as a thin white man with long brown hair and a beard in a robe with sandals. Thats how I have always been shown him.

I am wondering two things though.

one. Is there anywhere in the bible or something that really tells us what he looks like or how do we know?
two. what do you guys think of when you think of God/Jesus?
