Well, I don't get interviews to start with. My academic supervisors don't care, too. I mean, they are nice and we have been talking from now and then, but when I talk to them about my struggle, they seem to be inclined not to do anything, including not giving any insight or connect me with their previous students. I told you, I am nonexistent and worthless to everyone. I have the necessary credentials, but maybe a little overqualified for most jobs, but I see others manage to find a job. Not me though. It's all about connections, I believe. Recruiters get 100s of applications, and mine seem to be lost every time in the pile. My gap simply was because I couldn't find a job after I finished my contract.
