That is a cute movie. There have been a few movies portraying God as a black man, or even as a black woman. I think that those movies choose a non-traditional image on purpose to catch our attention and to get us to think about what we might assume or think that we know.

I have been taught that we were created in the image of God, and also that the more we follow Him and become like Him, the more we will look like Him. I don't know how literal that is - I don't really think it means we would look exactly like him, as I think we will have our own features, but I have been taught that Jesus looks the same as Heavenly Father.
