I was terminated by a former p-doc who I'd been seeing over a year and generally liked. She gave a month's notice that she was leaving the practice (where ex-T and ex-MC also worked) to go to a location where she could only meet with people who were low-income, so I couldn't follow her there. I think I found out via letter, just because of the timing. It hurt at the time (a few years ago), but I actually like the p-doc I found to replace her much better, so it worked out.
