I understand the ethics of why they probably can’t show any more concern or try to talk me out of it in any way. However, I’m still finding myself a bit triggered by my Ts response... I had emailed my T (who I saw for about 2-3 months saying I could no longer afford the sessions due to working less hours and that I had to cancel them for the time being. Her response?

“Ok. I wish you the best.“

This was not the DBT but another T I was most likely trying to process attachment stuff with as she specializes in attachment issues. I didn’t cae for her much (she’s the one that talked a lot), but I guess I’m feeling a little hurt by her response. I know I shouldn’t feel that way, especially since I’m the one who terminated with her.
