I remember a lot of good Easter memories. My mother liked to make her own candy. Her peanut butter eggs were the best. Our baskets were fill with all homemade stuff.

Unfortunately, I feel sad at Easter too, mainly because it was such a religious holiday in our home. These holiday make me feel guilty and like a bad mother. Although I've taken my kids to church and explained each of the holidays to them, they really don't understand what its all about. They think Jesus is in the same category as Santa. I've kind of failed them in the area of spirituality. My mother would be very disappointed with me in this regard. I know stop feeling guilty and drag the kids to church this Easter. The problem is when you drag them it defeats the purpose, at least it did for me as a kid.
