If it’s just a coworker then I’d not worry what she wants you to wear. Id not care what mom says either. I’d ask your boss what they want you to wear and just wear that. Some medical offices want receptionist to wear scrubs and some are ok with regular clothes. Go by what boss says. Good luck with seminar.
