I joke that I wait until the family is eating sticks and stones before going shopping.

I have tried the mentioned service (shypt) a third time at this point. No mark ups with the store that's available to me for this service(target). I found out why, as I was looking for reviews etc as I weigh in on the trial vs signing up for an annual service. Apparently target bought shypt within the year. The produce is already pre selected due to store itself. I've no qualms with the occasional trip to the grocery store, but sitting at night with a list and viewing for myself the bill ahead of time and making adjustments at my leisure before even committing to the purchase is turning into a bigger deal for me than I ever expected.
I'm also working full time and the last two grocery deliveries, I realized just how exhausted I've been and tried to mentally compare within myself the balance between what the entirety of the experience would turn out like. Would I have properly stocked my home had I gone myself? Probably not.
My sons are trying to figure this new addition to our lives. There's a wow factor for them in a they are impressed type of way.
I added last minute yesterday just sitting at my kitchen table- a bag of hamster food- of all things. While she was shopping, and texting with an out or two and discussing substitutions(which happened to be the same price-comparable product), I looked and realized how low we were and thought before I need to run out for this one thing...sure enough same price range if not a couple dollars lower than I would normally pay she added the bag.
When I check out on the app, it holds an extra dollar amount-around 10-15% of the bill for miscellaneous situations such as last minute additions which is also roughly what I'm willing to tip the driver.
