Darkness, I was just thinking, you're in the South, right?
It sounds like Sarah and myself live in the North as how she described the shopping phenomena right before a storm hits is a phenomena indeed. We're talking overflowing grocery carts of perishable goods in many ways...so what happens if electricity goes out with ice creams and milks and meats etc is a very real possibility especially with aging infrastructures up here.
It's an experience to say the least. And almost a running joke. Ever seen the bread and milk guy's videos on youtube? It's a comedy sketch but speaks to the phenomena.
