If you like photography consider one of theose Chinese phones that have the lovely leicas lens. huawei, samsung are all good and iphones if they are your bag. Really, it's all down to choice of phone and how much your chosen tariff is.

Never forget that your phone will need a protective case. Accidentally drop it, the screen breaks and then repairs may be costly, so invest in a good protective case. Choose one that feels comfortable in your hand. Same goes with choosing your phone, I'd imagine.
