I know the problem.....I am on propane here & it cost me $860 last month....& then just came again friday....another $800+ bill that I don't have the money for.....I called them up & told them I couldn't make the payment....so am making payments on it every money.....all I can afford is what they are willing to take.....I really appreciate that they are understanding also.

With the high cost of gasoline...it translates into high cost of propane.....I was in shock when I was in my house only 11 days & got a bill for over $600 when my water heater was on "vacation" & my house was set to 60........puts you in a state of shock for sure.

Sorry I can't help out.....but I sure do understand your situation & can definitely relate to how you are feeling..being that I'm having a similar problem. My only hope here is the refi of the California house.....so I can afford to put in an electric heat pump & electric water heater in my farm here in KY....that will save me enough money to almost pay for the system within 2 years at the cost of propane.
