For me mania = excess.
For example I致e just watched a Vietnamese cooking program. I知 not manic. I値l google the recipe when I知 ready to cook it. If I was manic I壇 be trying to figure out how to access money to buy a plane ticket so that I could go to Vietnam for cooking lessons.
