It must be really hard to deal with this. One useful exercise that I know of is to try to substitute those negative thougths with positive ones. Recognize when you're doing negative self-talk and try to think positively and rationally. If you think you're a failure, tell yourself that you aren't and try to remember all the things that you've accomplished - even the very small ones. It's not easy, especially when you're depressed, but it may be worth a shot. I'm so sorry, please don't give up. I wish I had more advice for you. If you want to vent, I'm here to listen.
