I'm not sure what either of these mean actually. I've just agreed friend requests and ignored the contact thing (I think?!) I just requested a friend for the first time - breathe, feels a bit like starting school all over - and the site asks whether I want to add them as a contact. Surely anyone can pm anyone (is Ignored people an exception to that).

If anyone has time to give a quick explanation that would be great. I looked at a few Help threads and haven't yet found the answer for myself.
