Thanks for sharing this experience. Although you aren't able to remember these experiences, I would suspect they may be stored somewhere in non-conscious areas of your brain... which is, perhaps, why you had the reaction you did? I don't really know of course. But that would be my guess.

I was an only child. And as I grew into my teens, my parents would tell me about things that happened when I was too young to remember. So now, with some of the memories I have, I don't know if I actually remember them myself or if what I remember is what my parents told me years later.
