Closest I've taken is fish and fish oil and those seemed to work brilliantly for me. Considering 5-htp is an amino acid (naturally occurring at that), I wonder what foods it is in. Fish, turkey, another meat?
I've never taken in supplement form, so I couldn't tell you about that. I am curious if I ever had it as part of my normal diet though.
