I'm pretty sure I've had an eating disorder for about 2 years now. I started with the low carb diet and it down spiraled from there. I went from low carb to also low fat, so I basically ate salads and exercised compulsively. I just continued to push myself to see how much less fat/sugar I could eat and then I would work out 6 times a week. My periods disappeared, my blood pressure is low and I get the constant comments of how I am too skinny. It's not until recently, thanks to an intervention letter from my Mom that I decided that I need to get help. I am scheduled to see a psychiatrist but I am scared b/c I feel like my eating disorder is the only thing in my life that I can control.

Anyways, I just wanted to share my story and see if anyone can relate. It would be nice to talk to someone who understands and who doesn't judge.
