What helps here saidso is you can see a thread someone has and then click on their name and read their about me which often reveals what their challenge/challenges are "depression, PTSD, schitzophrenia, etc, etc, etc." Then you can read some of their other threads so it gets you familiar with what their challenge is before you post in their thread.
This can actually educate you where you recognize how different people can have different challenges and how they are trying to work around their challenges or improve how they interact despite their challenges too. For example, if you look at what HopefullyLost1211 posted first you can get a clue from the name chosen and then you can click on it and read this member's about me and you can see PTSD and I struggle with that myself, I thanked this member and even gave a hug because I empathize where this member is coming from, why that poem was chosen and why it has an important meaning to this member. So, there is actually a lot more you can respond to when it comes to this site that can take into consideration that poster's challenge.
