I have not encountered this being done to me to my knowledge, but I admit I am one to stand and observe things through my own window. But, I don't live in the best of neighbourhoods and feel a need to be hypervigilant and this includes observing what my less than savoury neighbours do. Yep, I have informed my property management on those things that concerned me most - like domestic disturbances and situations. I also have the police communications line and 911 on speed dial. I have this need on account of my anxiety to be a step ahead of what is going on. I have even invited police to sit and enjoy a coffee with me while surveiling the drug house across the street. They didn't appreciate my humour but I was half completely serious.
