So, I haven’t bought new dishes in over 20 years. I did buy a set of Royal Albert Country Roses chinaware after my divorce in 2008, but it sits unused in a china cabinet, and that makes me sad. I thought about bringing it out and making it my everyday dishes, but my husband is seriously a bull in a china shop, and he does the cooking. I decided to look at Corelle Dish sets, and I found a beautiful pattern, Summer Blush. It’s gorgeous! and it’s a retired pattern, so I went on eBay and found a set. I decided to get really pretty drinking glasses and coffee mugs that matched the colors of the flowers in the pattern. I didn’t want my husband to feel left out, so I got him a new set of pots and pans and kitchen utensils. He is a happy camper, too.
