Kitchenwares stuff is my passion. I'm frugal, in general, but I have almost everything needed from a kitchenware shop.

I like my plates, but they are getting old, too. I'm the one in the household that breaks things all of the time. My bowl numbers are probably few enough to warrant a whole new dish set.

I think my Tegretol XR makes me clumsy. My psychiatrist agrees. I'm also careless, physically. In addition to breaking things, I've always got some bruise or burn or cut from this or that. My husband is like a baby about his "boo-boos", but I'm the opposite. I've broken a couple of things he was sentimental about and he yelled and cried as a result. I'm not that sentimental about items, but have broke a couple special things I really regret breaking, like a crystal champagne flute my mom bought us for our wedding day.
Awww...so sorry about the champagne flute. I fully understand sentimental value. I also have balance issues and essential tremor in my hands, so I need to slow down and make small deliberate movements rather than operating on automatic pilot. My husband moves around the kitchen like he’s running a race. I’m always telling him to slow down, that there’s no hurry to get things done. The stove top always looks like a bomb’s gone off😊, but I can’t complain. He loves to do the cooking.
