I also read this and have to tell you that YOU need to get clean before even dealing with these people. You are probably worried about your job and I get that but stopping and starting meth every few weeks isnt getting clean. Drug addiction will always allow you to get high with the people you got high with unless you have a strong foundation of sobriety. You need to find a crisis center ASAP and go there and say whatever you have to say to get checked in and hopefully go to rehab or go right into rehab and skip the crisis center altogether. I do not believe that Tom is sober, I believe he uses something even if its when you are not around. I am telling you that this will never get better doing it on your own and you havent been able to anyway so you shouldnt. The addiction keeps you with these people and you do not know how to say know because you are in active addiction. Even the periods you are not using meth for two weeks you are in active addiction because you are not clean. Abstaining and then starting up again is active addiction. Stopping and learning the tools on how to stay stopped is getting clean. I urge you to consider NA or AA ( I use AA) in the meantime but I promise you that none of this will get better or change until you go inpatient for detox and mental health issues. It doesnt matter if you deal with Matt or Tom now neither of them will leave you alone as long as there is a chance you may be using and need them again. The two of them are your other drugs and you need to detox from them now too. Trying to deal with them now or after a few days of no meth wont matter. You will relapse on them or meth or both. And you will end up dead, and they might too. And it wont matter who does what because ultimately you need to be taking care of you and your body and mental health.
Three things happen when you stay in your drug life: Jails, death or institutions.
