4 years ago, I gave T two paintings I did of her pets, they're the best art I've ever done, but I regret not saving a copy, because I didn't have a good scanner back then.

I'm dying to ask T if I could borrow them back to scan, but worried it'd be awkward, what if she no longer has them?

Do you think there's anything I can say to make my request as polite as possible? 😅 I can't paint them again. I've tried, but the results aren't as good.
