Good luck with it, lithium works really well for a lot of people.
It didn't do anything for me but I was taking it for depression. I just got all the side effects and no benefits so my pdoc stopped it after 9 months.
You need to make sure your blood level is good so your doctor might ask you to do blood tests regularly.
