a lot of that is probably written. just like all reality shows, its not really reality. they have writers and directors. they probably write the lines to make them look that way. jessica simpson wasnt really that stupid. they do a first show, see what works, then exaggerate that part. ever notice how homer used to be not so stupid in the simpsons? then as the show got older he got stupider and stupider. its all for shock value and, as you can see, it worked. thats what people watch tv for. i doubt that they are actually treated that way. theyre all actors anyways. thats just what they do. not trying to be insensitive, but most reality shows are not reality anyways.
