Hi gang,
To some (mostly my age and not hi-tech savvy) this may evoke some laughter.
My husband and son gave me an "i Pod" 20GB, the other day for my birthday, at first I was like, "what's wrong with the other way I walk around with our wireless system to listen to my cd's?"
I mean, I was grateful, do not get me wrong, but it took me a little while to adjust to listening to my cd's (which my son and husband copied my whole collection into this "pod" thingy) ha!ha! amazing, eh??
I am sure to many this is already passe' or on the way of it, but you have to picture someone who lived through vinyls, 8 tracks (had 4 track, but was short lived by manufacturers, the cassette was smaller than 8 track too) cassettes, cd's (which was another step into the future for me, ha!ha!) and now i Pod, I have "only" 20 GB's, I make fun of this cause this will hold quite enough for awhile, of music I love. I do not need 40GB or 60GB's, quite yet, ha!ha!
Well, got to go do my chores and run errands
But wanted to share this with y'all.

BTW Took me time to feel comfortable about getting a microwave, years ago, I feared some strange thing could happen to the food, and may leak microwaves.
Just didn't seem right that food could cook that fast, ha!ha!
As time went on I learned to almost depend on this thing, ha!ha! Computers? hell I am still crawling down this avenue.
