I know the story. The cops knew about it and well, no crime was committed. Suicide is not against the law, but counselling, aiding is. The poor man was 79 years old (he was old), and suffering. He discussed it with his family, doctors, etc. He had 3 psychiatric assessments, and they all said he was of sound mind. He planned this for awhile. His family supported his wish. It was a hard decision for both him and h is family.

They're trying to discuss the euthanasia and assisted suicide. There have been a few 'suicides' over the years, due to medical illnesses.

I do understand your anguish. We can only do what we believe is right for ourselves. Please try not to let incidents like this stop you from your fight to live.
