Another nice job. It could have used a bit more proofing, though, and I am paused each time the middle English word "amongst" is used. LOL

Having just endured a "family reunion" that didn't go well, I had decided that the one who organized this didn't manage time well. Now that I have reread the information on procrastination, I am thinking that THAT is the bigger issue with her.

Recently, I proofed a seminar for a colleague titled, "Paralyzing Perfectionism." There were many commonalities, as noted, with the procrastination syndrome.

This newsletter continues to emit pertinent data, as evidenced in the article about Professionalism. We can banter the word around easily in posting, but this explains how much of what is considered opinion, is really a standard for those in this care profession. One item it brought to my mind was, how recently, I ended up parking, leaving my car, and sitting with a total stranger who was sitting at a bench sobbing. Upon discussion of this with my T, he reminded me that he, as a professional licensed in the field, is not allowed to do such, especially with the liability issues insurances maintain. There are those members here whose Ts are NOT engaging in ethical procedures... I wonder if they are sanctioned/licensed by the APA or similar group, or even if they are insured. To have some of the guidelines listed, and coming from a respected source (Psychcentral) might assist those members to rethink the relationships their Ts are encouraging.
