Two different pdocs have told me the same thing: my memory loss is due to a combination of repeated manic episodes and meds. I was really afraid I was developing dementia, which is not unheard-of at my age (60), but they both said No, it was bipolar-related. It made me feel a little better, but I can't fix that either--I can't undo those manic episodes, nor can I stop taking meds.
