Hope, I really feel for you because I had a horrible telephone addiction. Whenever I got angry, sad, or just curious, I would make calls to people or about them and people would find out about what I had been doing and get angry with me. So, I really understand temptation. It got to a point were I couldn't even work at certain places because of where I called. That's when I saw (decades later) that my calling behavior was interfering with my life.

I really know how hard temptation is and that feeling of desperation just sucks!

I think the doctor shouldn't have given out his email address, if he doesn't want to be emailed. Then, both of you would not have this problem.
