i was 15, so at least i was able to know him for a while. But i took it for granted. I had no idea death could happen so quickly and to someone so young.
I'm always missing him, or that "father" that i never knew as a grownup. I used to be in crowds and when i walked next to a man, i would pretend he was my father, just so i could feel that connection again for a second.
I know it totally changes the way you live life...good or bad. i'm sorry for your loss.
