Doing voluntary work is a good way to meet people. But not many younger people have the time. I struggle to find a voluntary escapade where I can meet people who are not retired or teenagers looking for work experience in order to get a job. Seems like there is no inbetween.

I wouldn't mind working out doors maybe. I don't have many transferable skills like admin, or wood work. And I cannot work as a support worker or befriender because I did community service not long ago. I have only retail experience. And my community service record may even rule out the charity shops as they employ vulnerable people to give them a chance.
