the man in question had an autistic woman under his care also (severely autistic), and I know she got a lot of abuse too

when she screamed she would be slapped, her favorite calming dvds were snapped, and she used to get irritated when people used her first name hannah, so he'd use hannah just to see her react.

I don't know what's going on with him now, I don't live in the same area

I'd like to think he's had the girl taken away

bad thing to say but she deserves better

I know sometimes when I saw her, she would grasp my hand and not let go

she couldn't talk to me, but I knew. she wanted comforting

sorry you are going through this... on your not knowing what happened to this person have you tired google, or searching his name on facebook, twitter and other places where people "gather" from around the world. at the very least you may find an obit, court records, or family of his that may at some point post about this person... Thats how I found my childhood best friend one time.
