Mindfulness helped me find images one time when I was stuck in a hard place. I know that seems to be a go to a lot these days, but it did help me find images in my mind that I hadn’t seen before.
The hard place I was in was with me and I sat, breathed and cleared my mind and opened my mind and images came. I didn’t understand them but I just let them come.
I have a sketch pad and colored pencils. After the images came I drew what I saw and it helped me put some pieces together. I took the drawings to my next session and talked about them.
