If you cannot get rid of such person in your life right away, it would alleviate your trauma to at least get a break from her.

I have changed industries. I finally wised up - though too late for my current job - and no longer post where I am working on LinkedIn. I would really like to move but am dyslexic and prone to staring seizures which make driving risky. I stay where I am because of the available mass transit. I also have heart health issues and am hesitant to change MDs. I feel trapped.
