Having been in your possition almost three yrs ago, I'm wondering why you would want to go back to a dr you felt didn't do right by you?

Since you say you had lost all sense of reason, have you considered the fact that the dr didn't have any other choice?

Maybe what you consider "labels" are just diagnoses that drs have to use in order to bill whatever medical insurance you have. They also need the diagnoses for your records so that anyone else who treats you will have some clue as to what's wrong with you. There are exceptions to any illness. Not all the symptoms are present or you may have added symptoms.

Doctors are bound by the confidentiality rule. Why are you having trouble "living down" his diagnoses?

If you're thinking about legal recourse, the number of years gone by may have a lot of bearing on whether you have a case or not. That's something you need to find out.
