Hi! Hope your daughter is able to sleep better soon! Having two daughters, and in general with all children today, the stress put upon them at every level of school, socially with this constant online barrage of posts they feel they have to keep up with, NOT to mention if there might be even any negative posts from individuals or bullying they may be dealing with. There is most likely some underlying issue leading the the sleep issues. Sometime it takes a little time to get kids to talk what really might be bugging them! Prayers for patience and strength!

I cannot keep her home every time this happens, or she will miss too much school.

How do you get over sleep anxiety? How do you help a child with it before going through the pediatrician/therapist/psychiatrist route? She shows no outward signs of other mental illness except mild sensory processing disorder and I am not certain if that is all mental or slightly physical too because of the delay of certain fine motor skills (though not skills that affect her day at school).
Thanks for this!
