Fantastic news today from hubby!
He won the distinguished professor of the year for the whole school.
I am very Proud of him.
There is a $5,000 prize for the honor.
The ceremony/dinner will be in April and he has to give a speech.
He is usually playing music for the dinner. Now he will be the featured honorary.
Only 2 people in the whole university won this distinction.

We went to texas road house to celebrate.
I texted my family about it,

many peanuts on the floor and we ended up eating at the bar because I had a coughing fit and jeff was not bringing me back the water fast enough. I am trying to follow a low carb diet. and trying to cut back on portion sizes. I forgo the rolls and even had mixed veggies instead of the baked sweet potato. So I had the texas road kill. a 10oz steak burger smothered with cheese and mushrooms and onions. It was delicious and I only ate half....will have the rest this weekend sometime.I have to lose this weight, I just have to.
