Excellent point. two of my closest girl friends have never been married and have no children. They both work in the career fields where they make huge contribution to well-being of others. One volunteers on a very regular basis. They make our society a better place.

Both friends mentioned that they feel excluded and are often ignored because they didn’t give birth and don’t have a man. It greatly bothers me that even in 2019 women’s role is still often seen as a wife and a mother only

But generally speaking many people don’t know what this holiday is about, it’s about women having equal rights. It’s not about just being born a woman
