sounds like you're a person that needs to rehearse or "play out" situations actively and not just in your mind. No one anywhere can tell you definitively if this is "normal" or not. But the question really is, why does it concern you? Ask yourself this question first but in addition to that, does it disrupt the other areas of your life in such a way that it's causing problems at all? If not, I wouldn't even worry about it. If it affects your life or relationship with others to the extent that things are problematic or others are concerned for you, then sure, I'd pursue finding a therapist.

I personally have entire conversations in my head of imaginary situations where I am playing out what I would say and hope the others would say etc.. it's just not active but it's not really a huge jump to actually acting out the situations verbally and I honestly (just my opinion) it's not weird.

Again, if it's not disruptive to your day to day activities, it's fine.
