I'm not sure what bipolar has to do with this. Bipolar is a mood disorder. it doesn't sound like mania at all to be honest.

"The symptoms of mania include: elevated mood, inflated self-esteem, decreased need for sleep, racing thoughts, difficulty maintaining attention, increase in goal-directed activity, and excessive involvement in pleasurable activities. I don't see any of their descriptions including anything that alludes to mania or manic episode.
