Most of you know that my T was diagnosed with cancer last year. Due to her having major surgery, she no longer has cancer. But her life has changed.

Last week we said goodbye to a friend from church, who also had cancer.

Just found out that an old friend lost her mother last night, in Maryland. Although her mother (also my friend, since 1973) was ill, she was going in for cancer surgery in a few days, and but she was even at home resting up for it. This is shocking and very sad news for me. And, imagine, I had to awaken my wife with this news.

The family isn't very big, but they have a ton of friends, mostly due to their mutual interest in the arts, education, etc. She had a heart of gold. Any hugs you can send would be great. Thanks--Cool
