I'm so sorry you're feeling so nervous, sarahsweets It's perfectly understandable that you'd feel this way. Surgeries are scary for everyone. I have never experienced this so unfortunately I don't have a lot of advice to give to you, sarahsweets. I agree with what all the others have already wisely said better than I ever could. Don't worry, I'm sure you'll be able to get through all of this. Just try not to think about it if you can. Avoid reading articles or watching videos about it otherwise you'll just feel even more anxious and scared! Try to find as many distractions for yourself as much as you can. I'm glad your husband is there to help you and support you, like saidso has already wisely said (funny way to word it ). Will there be other people to support you as well? Surronding ourselves with people who love us and that we love back can be the best medicine. Try to remember that you're doing this for your own good and it won't last forever. It will be over at some point and you won't feel pain forever. Most importanty, you'll feel even better afterwards! That's what you're doing the surgery for, after all.
