I really want that degree. Whats your major?
Thanks Mine is human services. I was considering going into psychiatric social work. However, I'm having second thoughts and wondering about switching my major to psychology and becoming an art therapist. I'm about halfway done with my associates, I have a long way to go to get to a masters so it will take a long time. It's something I really want and feel I would enjoy, my parents never went to college. After taking several social work and sociology classes I am realizing I am not as quick or on point in actual face to face conversations. Words come out wrong, I stumble over things, things I say stray off in different directions and confuse people. It's not an anxiety thing because it happens with long time friends and my family as well. I'm not sure if it's the meds I've been on over the years or the sza itself, maybe both. Anyway, it would be too quick paced for me. I hate to admit that but it's just reality, I think art therapy is something I could realistically do as I love art and drawing/painting and also love studying psychology and have done very well in all my psych classes.

What about you, what are you majoring in?
