People treat others with mental illness so horribly. I remember when a therapist called the police because I was delusional and thought the government was after me. She thought I might end up hurting myself even though I never said I was. So we walk down stairs and the sheriff and two other police officers were there. I was terrified and got searched then had to ride in the back of the police car to this place where they filled out a mental inquest warrant and had a judge come sign it to put me in the hospital involuntarily. I wasn't doing anything wrong I was just scared. But the sherif said in a really rude way "if you try anything I won't hesitate to pull over on the highway and put you in handcuffs" I felt like a criminal or something.
