Personally I agree it would be safer if it was legal. It might not be an ideal job but it is a means to an end and therefore is every inch as valid as any job. Lots of people hate their job but they are still seen as valid jobs. It's providing a service and should be taken seriously.

I wasn't asking posters where they grew up because I think prostitutes should have different rights based on their country (though that is the current reality in our world). I was asking because people's opinions on the issue are naturally shaped by how the topic is framed and discussed in their country. Though none of the posters were required to share their country to participate in the thread; it was optional. Thank you for contributing.
