Are they euthanizing people who have mental illnesses but not physical illnesses? I always thought of euthanasia as ending the suffering of people who are dying soon anyway. I didn't think of it as suicide.

I believe that it’s “intolerable suffering” long term .. with no “hope” of “cure”- obviously different people would define this in different ways - mainly physical illnesses but in some cases mental illnesses also.
