About three years ago I started having hot flashes and skipping periods or getting it twice in the same month. I went to my gyn and he did bloodwork and a uterine biopsy to see if i was in early menopause. I am not but I am in perimenopause. I am 44 and like you I feel too young for this. I also have some endoctine issues and an autoimmune disease with arthritis so its hard to tell what thing is causing it so I just accept it. When it first happened I got a pregnancy test even though my husband had a vasectomy.
