I had an interview for a content writer position for a publication two weeks ago. The interview went relatively well. I made my portfolio with the articles that I have written for my college's newspaper (I'm a college student right now) for him to look at. I did that to be prepared and he took his time to read the articles. I want to feel confident the interview went well but they told me that they are going to interview 2 other people. Usually, when employers say that they are going to interview more people, that is a sign I'm not getting the job.

The day after the interview, I emailed my interview follow up that morning. Then last week I emailed them a question I had about the job since they said I could do that. They answered it and acknowledged my interview follow up as well. They also that they would let me know of the outcome later on but did not specify when. It is approaching 3 weeks since the interview. I am indecisive if I should check in and email them about their decision. I already reached out to them twice after the interview, not sure if should do it again for the third time. I feel inclined to do so but I am unsure.
