Hi Mick..... first you are not crazy but you are clearly out of balance right now. It's good you are reaching out for help.
You might want to talk to your doctor about it but in the meantime here are a couple of things you might benefit from doing....
Get enough sleep.... sleep deprivation can cause the kinds of symptoms you speak of.
Eat a balanced diet and take vitamin supplements to boost your defences. Avoid sugars, alcohol, caffine, artifical sweetners.
Get regular cardo exercise -- swimming is a great choice but anything to get your heart rate up at least 3 times a week.
Those are the 3 basic self-care habits and routines that everyone needs to incorporate into their lives.
Neglect of any of those basics will cause symptoms like anxiety, depression and physical pain.
Sleep is critical. Regular and routine. Same bedtime and wake time everyday.... even on weekends will do wonders to level the emotions and improve thinking skills.
Hope this helps until you see your doctor. Number 1 priority is to get enough sleep. Minimum 6 - 8 hours at the same time every night will do wonders.
If you leave this untreated it will only get worse so don't brush it off. Take charge early by taking good care of you body. Give it the rest it needs, the exercise it needs and the food it needs.
Hope this helps ease your mind and give you something real to do.
Take good care..... meditation is a great stress reliever too. Be good to yourself.
